Belle has officially, an unanimously been declared the best Anime movie of 2021 and now many people are wondering where they watch or stream it online.
Critics are raving about new anime movie by Studio Chizu called Belle, or The Dragon and Freckled Princess (竜とそばかすの姫). Director Mamoru Hosoda has track record of creating masterclass anime cinema. His movies are always well praised by critics and fans alike. Wolf Children (2012), The Boy And The Beast (2015), and The Girl Who Leapt Through Time (2006) are ranked as some of the greatest anime movies of all time by My Anime List.
Now, Mamoru Hosoda has outdone himself with his new anime movie masterpiece Belle or The Dragon and Freckled Princess (竜とそばかすの姫).
The anime follows Belle, a high school student who enters a fascinating virtual world and becomes a globally famous singer. She quickly finds herself on an emotional and epic quest to discover the identity of a mystery beast fleeing brutal vigilantes.
This Isekai anime film has garnered overwhelmingly positive reviews from critics all over the world, earning a 7.7 out of 10 on My Anime List and a 94 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes. IndieWire even said that the anime movie was a cross between The Matrix and Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. So, where can you watch Belle, or The Dragon and Freckled Princess (竜とそばかすの姫) online?

Sadly, since this a brand new anime movie you can’t really watch it online. It only released in Japan on June 16, 2021 and hasn’t been released internationally just yet. Fortunately, anime fans won’t have to wait too long; an English dubbed version of Belle hits cinemas later this month.
