Anime music is awesome, catchy and sometimes totally unforgettable. Here are 10 anime songs that I can’t get out off my head!

Although there are literally thousands and thousands of unforgettable, sometimes catchy, awesome anime songs, I picked 10 off the top of my head because they were unforgettable to me.

In this listicle I will be discussing the anime songs that stuck with me through the years. These anime songs are unforgettable and very catchy!

1-“Pokémon Theme” by Jason Paige – Pokémon

Nearly everyone who loves anime knows what Pokemon is. But more importantly, if you grow up in the 90s you will surely hear the Pokemon theme once or twice and start walking like a Pokemon master who is going to win a battle while whistling the tune. We don’t know what the Japanese Pokemon Theme looks like, but surely we all know the Jason Paige version.

2- “LUPIN III Theme” by You & Explosion Band and Yuji Ohno – Lupin III

Lupin III (Lupin The Third) is a manga series written and illustrated by Monkey Punch and loved by many over the half-century while following the grandson of Arsen Lupin’s exciting criminal life. As expected, the songs of the anime adaptation also become a classic.

3- “Again” by Yui – Full Metal Archemist Brotherhood

If you watch anime or J-drama, you must come across Yui songs at least once or twice. I feel like it is unavoidable. Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood is the second anime adaptation based on the manga by Hiromu Arakawa, and “Again” is the first opening for it.

4-“Love, Don’t Leave Me!” by Kahoru Kohiruimaki City Hunter

Ryou Saeba tries to help the people of Tokyo with his tomboy side-kick Kaori Makimura. If someone is in trouble, all they need to do is, writing XYZ to a specific notice board on the station. This nostalgic song makes it into our list with its easy-to-remember melody.

5- Detective Conan Theme

How can a list like this end without mentioning Detective Conan? At the time, it has many opening and ending songs, but this song becomes a classic and never gonna be forgotten.

6- Fiction by sumika – Wotakoi

Wotakoi: Love Is Hard for Otaku is a manga series written and illustrated by Fujita. It’s about four different kinds of otaku’s daily life and struggles in the real world. This easy-to-stuck, cheerful song was used as the opening theme for the anime. Sumika also made songs for the anime I Want to Eat Your Pancreas and My Hero Academia.

7- Here by Junna – The Ancient Magus’ Bride

“With a chest made of rubble, I can’t even breathe.

The rain starts to fall, the sky dark as sleep.

What flower should I decorate myself with, to stay alive in this world?

I want to believe, but still can’t manage it…”

This sad song which is the first opening song of The Ancient Magus’ Bride, puts you in tears and somehow awaken up your fighting spirit at the same time.

The Ancient Magus’ Bride is about Chise, who is suffering a tragic childhood, her life made an unexpecting turn when she was sold to a mysterious sorcerer named Elias at an auction. She will learn magic and become this creature’s apprentice, and his bride.

8- Change by Kana Adachi – Layton Mystery Detective Agency: Katori no Nazotoki File

Another cheerful song, that makes you go for – well, anything you want to achieve. As the mystery games of Professor Layton become epic, the detective duty continued with Professor Layton’s daughter Katrielle in an anime spin-off.

9-“Merry-Go-Round” by Joe Hisaishi – Howl’s Moving Castle

A list can’t be complete without a Miyazaki movie soundtrack in it. This song makes you forget where you are and let you travel with Howl to far away to see the beauty of different worlds. AS traveling, don’t forget to heal your fears about yourself like Sophie and Howl.

10- Rain by Sekai No Owari – Mary to Majo no Hana

Sekai no Owari songs make you feel the magic in life, don’t you think? So this song which is made for the anime Mary and The Witch’s Flower, real hit on the spot.
