Game World Reincarnation promises more explicit premium version

Game World Reincarnation – Sex On First Night will have a “premium version” that will be more explicit and will premiere on AnimeFesta in December 2020.

On Thursday, AnimeFesta teased a promotional video for “ji no Honmei wa Akuyakureij” (The Prince’s Favorite is the Villainess), the AnimeFesta anime adaptation of Re:Game mimu’s World Reincarnation Sex on the First Night (Tensei Shoya Kara Musabori Etchi: ji no Honmei wa Akuyakureijо) manga, which reveals and previews the theme song.

The “on-air version” of the anime will debut on January 10th on Tokyo MX and BS11, at 1:00 a.m. However, AnimeFesta, Japan’s leading digital anime service, has promised fans a raunchier and “more explicit premium version” of the show on its own platform. The “premium version” of Game World Reincarnation Sex on the First Night (王子の本命は悪役令嬢) will pre-release and debut on the AnimeFesta service in December later this year.

WHAT IS GAME WORLD REINCARNATION ABOUT?

The plot revolves around an office lady who is reincarnated as the villain Diana in her favourite otome game Hoshifuru Koi no Astrolabe. Despite the fact that he is supposed to love the game’s heroine, Prince Sirius becomes close to Diana.

In order to avoid the bad ending that will lead to the destruction of the world, she seduces him, believing that the prince will not like her impurity. Despite her efforts, the prince falls in love with her.

WHERE CAN I WATCH?

Sadly there are currently no plans for a simulcast by Crunchyroll, Funimation or HIDIVE. That may change, though, when Game World Reincarnation gets its promised “premium version” as it will like be PV/OVO (straight to video). It is likely that that a subbed only version of the anime will be available on HIDIVE or Crunchyroll later this year.

In the meantime we recommend you check out a wholesome little anime series called My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom! (乙女ゲームの破滅フラグしかない悪役令嬢に転生してしまった…). It has a similar premise albeit slightly bit more wholesome and less raunchy.
